Last night, Tri-Valley Composite Squadron 156 honored many of our members on their recent accomplishments:

- 2 of our members earned promotions to the next grade
- 3 of our members were awarded the Leadership Ribbon for earning a technician rating in their first specialty track
- 5 of our members earned the Membership Ribbon for completion of Level 1.
- 2 of our members earned the Benjamin O. Davis Award for completion of Level 2
- 3 of our members earned the Yeager Award
- 2 of our members earned the Crossfield Award
- 1 of our members was recognized with the Commander’s Commendation Award
- 3 of our members earned the General Emergency Services rating
- 1 of our members completed the ICUT
- 1 of our members earned the Mission Staff Assistant rating
- 1 of our members earned the Mission Scanner rating
- 2 of our members earned the Mission Observer rating
- 1 of our members earned the SAR/DR Mission Pilot rating

The penultimate lesson on self-driving cars Wednesday at Squadron 156 in Livermore included training the cars on a racetrack that was created at Fire Station 17 in Dublin. Thank you Alameda County Fire Department for letting us visit and set up a racetrack in one of your bays! Our last session on self-driving cars will be letting them drive without any help at all.
